THE
MIND
Our minds can be said to be the origin of whatever action or
inactions we see, the source of anything good or bad, the originator of
anything beneficial or harmful, the mind is more or less the engine room of a
physical body, the unseen and unsung hero of any great person, and also the
villain behind any failure.
The power of the mind cannot and should never be
underestimated, the mind is an unapologetic optimist that it believes there is
nothing it cannot achieve, and at same time it is also an unrepentant pessimist
that it believes it cannot achieve anything or get anything done. All this
sounds like the mind (if it were to be a person in physical) is a confused
human. However this double identity of the mind just tends to show that it is
greatly competent to execute whatever it is committed to do with great
precision and technique. It is pertinent to know that our minds is always of
two opposite nature, good and bad, positive and negative, possibility and
impossibility.
However, the mind is very and always dependent on whatever
use it is put to. In as much as it is called the mind, it doesn’t have a mind
of its own. We as humans all have minds, so now, whatever power or control you
give your mind would be manifested on the outside by your actions, just like
the spiritual controls the physical, so also is the mind, the processes are not
seen, only the results manifests.
All said and done, we can easily deduce that the mind depends
on us for power. If you think you can do something and you will your mind to
believe so, pooof!!! It gets done, and well if you think something is
impossible your mind too tends to believe so, then it remains so, we should
however note that the mind tends to want to have thoughts of its own and move
off track, it is however our duty to remind it that we own it and it is
condemned to do what we want. That is WILLPOWER.
Watch this space for subsequent parts.
